Keller began his professional career underwriting businesses at JPMorgan before moving from analyzing companies to building them himself. Over the following decades, he created, acquired, scaled, and exited businesses across industries including automotive, manufacturing, technology, consumer products, and other operating sectors.
Among the defining chapters of his entrepreneurial career was the development of the ZAK Automotive Companies, which were acquired by Berkshire Hathaway in 2015. That experience gave Keller direct exposure to how sophisticated acquirers evaluate business durability, management, culture, risk, systems, and long-term enterprise value.
Today, Keller applies those lessons through Experience Ventures and his broader work with founders, helping entrepreneurs think beyond revenue growth toward businesses that are operationally durable, financially attractive, less dependent on the founder, and ultimately capable of creating transferable enterprise value.
